Stumbled upon this video on Youtube. Sorry, Joel Trussell--I'm obviously late to your party! (Thanks for the link, Drake!) Definitely a Samurai Jack vibe, but even rawer and more Provensen -esque:
And a couple weeks ago, Steven Gettis' ordered an ART OF ANDY sketchbook, but instead of an original drawing on the inside, requested one separate and of or inspired by my favorite work of literature or literary figure, per the theme of his site: "Hey Oscar Wilde! It's Clobberin' Time!" (great name!). You can see my piece (and find out what my favorite book is) HERE.
Here's another link with my work. This one's from the incredible Dylan McCrae's blog. Him and his POP Syndicate buddies were redesigning Aquaman. Here's my take. My inks, his saccharine-sweet colors. Be warned: these drawings are ridiculously absurd.

Yeah, man. Joel Trussell's work is great. He has a blog too, btw. http://joeltrussell.blogspot.com/
shit! Drake! I totally missed you this weekend, didn't I??
Always loved the CLOBBERIN' TIME site. Someday I'll have to get you to draw something in my "I Like Both Kinds Of Comics, Kirby and Ditko" sketchbook.
Haha! Your drawings are amazing.
thanks Roque! I'm still trying to figure out how to link via tabs versus changing the entire page!?
It's an HTML thing you add. So if I was going to link to your site it would read like this (so that you can see the text, I had to remove the "<" from the beginning and the ">" from the end):
