IN STORES THIS WEDNESDAY!!!

That's June 11th...issue #1 of CHARLATAN BALL premiers! Please feel free to promote or display on your blog(s), websites, diaries or dream journals. More importantly, go BUY it! In case you are stationed on a remote Antarctic viewing outpost, feel free to use this Comic Book Shop LOCATOR to find a store nearest you.

I figured since I've posted the cover to #1 so many times you're sick of it, here's a preview of issue #3.

P.S. Thank you to those who've written in, posted or linked with me. I just got back into the country after a long honeymoon and will do my best about getting back to you, linking and commenting.

Thanks dude. I really dig your "Random Thoughts on Comics and Stuff" blog!

...and yes, that's the cover for issue #3 (August), which I feel like my art is JUST starting to find it's rhythm.

Thanks for the plug on your site! Free art for you if I see you at the con (or mailed out later).

Hey Andy, Just wanted to tell you how much I am looking forward to your new book, Charlatan Ball. I have been a fan of work since the BigHair day's & Charlatan Ball looks to be a real fun adventure. Your new style for this book is a cool mix of Kibry meets Animation.

This is so unique from what is currently on the shelf. By the way how is Image keeping the price of this book so low?? Full color & 24 pages at $2.50. I fell like it is 1988!!

Thankyou Mr. Modhip!

...I ain't gonna lie, the first issue is a bit...rough, ink-wise. I didn;t really find a groove until issue #3. 4 and 5 are my faves...working on 6 now.

And BHP, huh? So you're the one.

Hey I've been trolling your blog now for awhile on and off and untill recent I've never really looked clearly at it. Also I love the Art of the story I didn't read the "about" since I just want to have nothing on it, so it's still new like. Oh and I hope you and yours had a great time out and good luck with the book and life!

Hello there. Just a quick note to say read the first issue and loved it! I'll be pushing this just as hard I can (in my comic shop employee guise). Consider yourself plugged on our weekly blurb:

Andy,

Picked it up this weekend and it was exactly what I was hoping for. I was planning on doing some fanart, but now I can go forth and do so with this newfound inspiration!
Was glad to talk a couple people at the shop into picking it up (also been working on getting support for Firebreather, also from Image).

I hope you have time to update with the monthly book on top of everything, but I'll always stop in to check everything out.

Your fan,

-matt
