"HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD..."

Continuing my drawings of characters from books I'm currently digging, the revamped GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY has become a monthly treat (see: Groot, Bug and Rocket Raccoon). Issue #18 features an alternate universe lineup from the year 3009 which includes an aged Wonder Man under the mantle "Hollywood". I love Wonder Man and I love aged superheroes--it's like chocolate and peanut butter for me! This is my drawing (without much alteration).

Fab drawing, by the way, Mr S!

The artists on this book have been severely hit and miss...which usually prompts the end of my purchasing. That Pelletier guy was originally on it, who is, in my opinion, fantastic. But recently? Truth be told, no matter WHAT the story or writing's like...if the art doesn't get better in another issue or so, I think I'm walking away.

On a side note: I like how all of us like-minded artists all love the same B-list superheroes no one else does!

Andy,
These last two are really nice!
By any chance are you going to be at CTN-X?
Oops, I just noticed carl asked that too...

And B-listers and Z-listers are my faves! I see too much fan art of Captain America and Batman, etc. although they are fun to draw at times too...

love it! though i think a 'wonder-zimmer frame' would really set him off.
and i agree, more 'elderly' guys in spandex is good thing(but hell - not in the real world!)
this has intrigued me, dare i say it, but i'm gonna check the book out.
